TRACIE in Ethiopia!!

Hi Everyone!

So Tracie made it Ethiopia safely. I was up all night thinking at 1am last night they were able to hold their son for the first time! So amazing! I am just so happy for them I can cry at the drop of a hat! Really...

Anyway this morning I couldn't sleep as we are PRAYING to get our travel call this week, I left the house early and get this email from TRACIE! (in green)

"hey guys. i can't believe i finally got on the internet. we went to hannah's hpe today and got him. he has been with us all day. he is a DOLL BABY!

OH JULIE... I can not even tell you how LITTLE MAYA IS... she is a TINY THING... you better go get some smaller clothes :-) someone thought we were taking her home because we held her just as much as Abel. SHE IS GORGEOUS... picture do her no justice. her eyes are amazing and the girl smiles NON STOP.

IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY... very very poor. i have seen things that have broken my heart.

As you can imagine that is all i needed to hear to feel peace today! There is a small chance she is going to be able to call me so I will let you all know when i hear from her. Thank you for praying for them! They seem to be doing AMAZING!

Bla Bla DOLLS are now at my store!

So yesterday I opened up the CUTEST box of little dolls... (THANK U SUZI FOR THE IDEA)

This is a mobile and its a girl chasing the dog, dog chasing the cat, cat chasing the bird, bird chasing the bee and bee chasing the girl! Its sooooo cute!

On a serious note:
I said my last good bye (in person) to Tracie today! What am I going to do without her! Oh Tracie...our journey together ends here and will be continued when our kids are reunited soon! I love you so much and cherished this time in our lives. You will be MISSED TOO MUCH!

9 weeks

Well today it is 9 weeks and still no word of getting thru court or a travel date. This has been really hard for me. I am just so dying to hold my little girl or just want to know that the time is coming soon. :( Still trying to keep busy. Tomorrow night is Tracie's shower and i have tons to do for the store. Thats about it around here.

New Painted Africa

I know I seem like I have nothing to do lately but re paint the Africa on my wall BUT I do have a business I run that I am RUNNING...Anyway here is the changed Africa on Maya's wall...the heart is a very light pink. :)

8 weeks and 3 days

Yes i am psychotically counting everyday that passes! :) Had such a bad dream that Julie called and told me I didnt get thru court. It was TERRIBLE. I am praying I hear some good news today!

But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day...Habakkuk 2:3

8 weeks and waiting

We've officially waited 8 weeks from referral today. Tracie got her call after 8 weeks and 3 days...obsess much you say? yes! :) I am waiting expectantly that God is going to answer our prayers SOON :) so we can go get our little Maya girl. Last night I worked on her life book. I put all the pics we have gotten of her with little comments about her progress...it was so fun. I wrote her some letters to. I am going to keep them in a envelope in the front of her book that says "Letters from mom"...my friend gave me that idea. Cute huh?
